"It is our choices...that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities."
-J.K. Rowling
-J.K. Rowling
J.K. Rowling had planned on writing Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince from the beginning. But she took two months to go over her plan before actually starting writing . She also did this so that she does not make the same mistake that she did with Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire. J.K. Rowling was also pregnant with her third child David who was born just before the release of the book. Even though Rowling was pregnant while writing the sixth book she was actually less stressed than when she was writing the fifth, she believes her fans were anxious than she was. But with having a new baby paparazzi began to secretly follow her family when ever they went out. Around the same time Rowling received lots of poor reviews from critics and was even sent death threats after the book was released. When it comes to harry potter Rowling had never really liked never really liked writing the quidditch games. although in the sixth book she wrote the last quidditch match of the book with luna lovegood commentating the game and Rowling said that this was the first time she enjoyed writing a quidditch match. She even said that it was her favorite part of the book to write. While writing the book Rowling strived to still live a normal life, they went out like any normal family, they didn't live to extravagantly. she did this to keep her kids humble and so they have a realistic idea of life. Rowling says that Part of living a normal life is being a hard worker because she believes that self worth comes from finding what you do best and doing it well.
