I am personally not a reader but the Harry Potter books are some of the only books that keep me interested and engaged while reading. And the sixth book is no exception, The book is definitely one of if not my favorite book in the series so far. Throughout the book, I am greeted with chills and feelings of happiness. While reading this book I did not learn much about myself that I did not already know about myself. I think that I am a caring person who is concerned about the well being of people. When reading the part of the book where Harry uses the Sectumsempra spell on Malfoy witch cuts deep wounds all over Malfoy's body. That part of the book made me physically hurt because even though I do not particularly like Malfoy it was still awful to hear the description of what had happened to him because of how gruesome it was. Then when Dumbledore was killed the only feeling that I could feel was sadness. He was a character that we had know since the beginning and now he is gone. Dumbledore him was not real but he was so well developed as a character that it felt like a real person had died. I also felt betrayed by snape, He was a character that I trusted because I trusted Dumbledore. But in the end he turned out to be evil all along. Again snape is not a real person but his development and his back story just make hi seem so real in his actions. Which in turn can cause intense emotion because of there actions. I could also relate to Harry's feelings during these situations and even when there were just small things happening between his friend. Like when his friends Hermione and Ron were fighting and Harry had to find a way to communicate with the both of them even when Ron and Hermione went talking to each other. The book was overall great it was extremely interesting through its plot and small details that are in the book that add so much to the book. I would definitely read this book if you have not read it before but read the other books first before you read this one because they are all great.
